Take Action to Increase Funding for McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants!
Washington’s legislative session may be over, but the federal appropriations process to fund homelessness prevention programs is just gearing up. The Senate’s HUD Appropriations bill includes $2.15 billion in FY 2013 for McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Grants, which is great, but that falls short of the President’s request of $2.23 billion.
